Our Food Preparation Center - a consolidated state-of-the-art food production facility - is capable of producing over 12,000 meals daily. Senior citizens enjoy nutritionally balanced meals at congregate senior sites and community centers throughout Fresno County; Head Start children build strong bodies as they experience a variety of textures and colors in the foods we provide; day care children and adults delight in the good nutritional foods made available at the sites where they participate; and, business professionals and EOC employees enjoy the convenience of a "grab-and-go" or sit down lunch at one of our corporate cafés.

Summer Food Services Program

Most students look forward to the perks summer vacation brings - staying up late, sleeping in, and let's not forget, no homework; but for the more than 120,000 Fresno County students who rely on free or reduced-price school meals, the end of the school year means they have to worry about where their next and possibly only nutritious meal of the day will come from.

EOC's Food Services is able to provide low-income children, under the age of 19, with nutritious meals during summer break through the Summer Food Services Program (SFSP) - a federal nutrition program.

Each meal meets strict USDA and California Department of Education (CDE) nutrition guidelines and includes two ounces of protein, two servings of fruits/vegetables, one serving of bread, and eight ounces of milk.

SFSP is funded by the USDA and administered by the CDE.
