COMMUNITY IS INVITED TO SPECIAL WELCOME RECEPTION FOR NEW EOC EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

- Brian Angus brings with him 38 years of coalition building and Community Action experience -

(FRESNO, CA) Fresno County Economic Opportunities Commission (EOC) is pleased to invite the media and local community to meet our new Executive Director Brian Angus to EOC. The welcome reception will be held Wednesday, September 8, 2010 from 4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at Arte Américas on 1630 Van Ness in Downtown Fresno. Please join us and local community leaders in welcoming Brian Angus to the Central Valley.

Mr. Angus has dedicated his 38 year professional career to Community Action. Before coming to EOC, Mr. Angus served as Chief Executive Officer of Anne Arundel Economic Opportunity Committee in Annapolis, Maryland. Mr. Angus brings to EOC a successful track record of building and leading nationally recognized coalitions as well as the passion and drive to empowering the low-income and disenfranchised.
